| Rally Community edition is a free, fully functional version which allows a team of up to 10 people to collaborate on a single project. As a Lean Agile Consultant, I have tried several tools and I almost always recommend this. It allows a good collaborative environment where people with multiple roles can see different views of the same project - yes, it allows role based views even in the free edition. It allows easy tracking of all aspects - stories an their break down into sub-stories, mapping stories to tasks, tasks to iterations and allocating tasks to resources. All of this in a dynamic fashion where things can be changed as the priority of the product items in the back log changes. It gives you one integrated system for product definition, design, feature prioritization, project management, collaboration, and task management. Yyou can also create test cases and track execution. We did not use the "Defect management" feature since all the projects i used the tool were in early development but at a first glance, it looks as robust as the other feature. It also provides a role based, customizable dashboard ad various kinds of reports and metrics that help in decision making and tracking progress. |

| Rally, from my perspective, is a game-changer as it reduces TCO while providing an elastic, flexible, extensible SLM solution. While industry is moving from OTS with annual maintenance expense to SaaS based on a subscription business model, the benefits become rapidly apparent, particularly in light of the fact there are so many connectors and API handles to Rally, not to mention there is no client software to install or troubleshoot. | |

| I've used Rally for several years and it played an instrumental role on the company's agile transformation. Although a little hard to do the initial setup in accordance to company's processes and toll gates, Rally demonstrated to be strong, reliable and easy to use. | |

| Rally set up was done by one of our chief architects in consonance with the Rally team support initially as an evaluation license and later full fledged. Training was provided by our scrum masters on using it. We used it for timesheet submission as well. Integration with eclipse. Have been satisfied with the UI and ease of use. | |
