I use the newsletter setup in AWeber. It has been great. The customer support at Aweber is great. They are responsive. The customization is basic unless you know HTML. I do not use HTML well. I have integrated the app with my website (word press blog).

Email marketing is still one of the most effective ways to build strong customer relationships to grow your business. This is a review of AWeber Software.

AWeber email software is for any business that wants to communicate with potential and current customers, members, subscribers via email. They provide a number of options such as:

Auto responder where you can set up a series of emails to be delivered over time.

Email newsletters which can be provided in a number of formats. For example they have a number of templates that you can use and customise. Blog posts which can be automatically delivered via email for readers of your blog.

What I like about AWeber: It is easy to set up and with helpful guides Sign up forms that can be embedded into pages on your website in various ways High delivery rates Ability to send plain text as well as HTML versions to suit different customers Very good statistic reports.

What could be better: Scheduling options to account for different world time zones. Social sharing buttons. Overall AWeber is a quality product and as they have a $1 30 day trial it is worth testing if you are looking for email marketing software.

Aweber is an excellent service for managing your email prospect list. It requires opt-in and all other steps to maintain compliance with the CANSPAM Act. It is reliable and simple to set up and use.

AWeber provides a powerful, flexible system for email marketing. With a bit of training, almost anyone will be able to set up a lead capture form, launch an auto-response email sequence, and track campaign success.

Integration with Wordpress and social media platforms is excellent.

AWeber Deliverabilty & Leadership

When I started with an autoresponder service, I used the proprietary form provided by the membership site I joined. However, I soon found it limited with a lot of issues surround deliverability.

So, I searched for online reviews and niched it down--although AWeber was one of the final two, I selected another. It wasnt too long after that I realized that it was a mistake and that I should have selected this industry leader.

For the business person who is new to the online marketing world, the lure of other autoresponders is tempting but despite the attractiveness or the promise of easy use, there are many limitations and often problems with delivery. What does this mean? If your emails get caught in the spam filters, they dont get through.

Plus, many limit how many templates you can use or how you can configure your emails. AWeber is used by most of the large internet marketing gurus. One of the biggest reasons they do is because AWeber emails get delivered and the service offers a variety of choices when it comes to doing custom html or text emails and provide attractive html templates to make this job easier.

AWeber also offers a risk free 7 day trial so you can get an inside view and experiment with the software before purchasing it. As you set up your service, a pop up footer helps take you to the next step which makes it easier on you. In addition, there are tutorial videos that can assist you along the way, but if you need help, a live chat can help you get answers quickly and easily and this was what closed the deal for me.

The previous autoresponder I used lost my business over the fact that an upgrade messed up all my lists--mixing them up and rendering many forms unusable. They never offered any apologies, upgrades to anyone having problems (there were a bunch) and ignored the support forum questions others were posting. Another element I like is that AWeber offers different billing options.

My previous autoresponder did not allow me to edit my payment options and failed to notify me of any billing changes--they instead just charged me extra rates. Also, their customer service was dismal at best. This is not the case with AWeber, they have a tiered program that details just what you will pay based on your subscribers and you can select the payment option that best suits your needs.

Although I am mostly happy with AWeber, I dont like the fact that I cannot merge lists without having my subscribers sign up again. This is a big hassle as my business has changed. Also, I have submitted many requests for added services or changes but have been told that it is unlikely that they will be implemented.

I also do not like their panel that reports subscribers, it lists those that have unsubscribed over time and gives a total that includes those. Seems bizarre to me. As I keep my eye on the pulse of things, their unwillingness to experiment and offer additional services may end up losing some of their business to a new service that is fast attracting savvy Internet folks.

The thing that keeps many people loyal to a service is that when you change autoresponder services, you have to have the subscribers opt-in again. Many will not follow you. However, if you desire to have only engaged subscribers left on that list, change can be good--and that is what I have found after moving to AWeber.
