Eloqua is a very robust tool that can be used by anyone in your marketing organization. Once you learn the philosophy behind marketing automation (most of us already have this) along with a couple training courses, the world is yours. Eloqua easily handles CRM integrations, nurture/drip campaigns, lead scoring, lead source tracking back to CRM's, tracking digital body language and shows this in lead and contact records beautifully in SFDC, profiling and email sales tools, and builds emails, forms, landing pages, databases with easy to use editors with no HTML knowledge needed, among many other great things.

The best thing about Eloqua is the marketing community you become a part of. I have become a better marketer because of how involved and enthusiastic Eloqua customers are. With this, Eloqua events are priceless as you meet so many people who have solved the problems you are facing and willing to take the time to teach you.

I have also used Aprimo for 4 years and though Aprimo attempts to do all these things, it is pretty difficult compared to Eloqua and the UI doesn't even compare to Eloqua. Eloqua's service team also goes above and beyond. Aprimo CS read documentation out of a book. Eloqua's CS are real automation experts that solve your larger problems and any hiccups you run into.
