I never worry about backing up my computer

After a computer crash several years ago, somebody recommended Carbonite. I now have piece of mind knowing my business is backed up, and so are my photos and everything else.

It's a no-brainer. It works all the time. An added bonus is that I can access my desktop from anywhere, since Carbonite backs up in the cloud.

Carbonite Review: Basic isn't always bad

We started using Carbonite over 16 months ago and have found it very easy to use for a number of reasons. The tool works in the background so it don't require any user action. The tool's encryption of data meets

every industry standard and best of all the price is right. Carbonite proved its value when a team laptop was stolen in an airport and within 15 minutes we has access to 100% of the files on it.

The only downside is that the tool only backs up what is on your laptop and not an external drive.

Overall this tool allows me to sleep at night. Try it!

Carbonite Review: 1 year of experience with Carbonite

I purchased the Carbonite backup service approximately a year ago and have used it since. It was easy to setup and has a default setting for the types of files it backs up. You do want to check this since not all file types are backed up and some important files may not be backed up as a default such as audio and video files.

I have had to restore a single file and that worked fine. The service runs in the background which is good but sometimes takes more CPU than desired slowing down other applications. When this occurs I just pause Carbonite temporarily.

I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a basic, easy to use backup service. I have not used the customer service for anything because the service has not required it.
