The Product Is So Intuitive, We Didn't Feel The Need For Formal Training But Would Expect To See More Customization For Integration |

| The Boomi setup process couldn't be easier. Once your account is created you log in and start building integrations. The integrations execute either on local Atoms or cloud Atoms. Installing local atoms involves running a setup application that simply asks you to name your atom and select a location for the installation. Customer support has been outstanding. Our company has worked with Boomi since before the Dell acquisition and the support has only gotten even better. We didn't take advantage of any of the formal Boomi training available so I can't comment on the quality or completeness. What we found is that the product is intuitive enough and easy enough to use that we didn't feel the need for formal training. We'd like to see slightly more customization in the area of integration management, specifically the ability to control access at the folder level in the integration development environment. We've done fine with policies and procedures, but in cases where we might have contractors or consultants accessing the system, a little finer grained access control would be helpful. Our software development team has been the exclusive users of the platform, so we haven't required any additional resources. If a complex integration was being developed by business users or business analysts, I think involvement from development resources may have been required as well. We've used Boomi for the following: To integrate a custom property management system with a data collection service provider. Integration between Peoplesoft and the same property management system. We've integrated both Peoplesoft and the custom property management system with Salesforce. A massive Excel workbook (32 worksheets, 28,000 data point) was integrated with the property management system and we're now modifiying that integration to point to the Saleforce replacement for the in-house system. NOTE: We built a custom data extraction app to get the data out of Excel and into XML so Boomi could consume it. The features we use most are the map shape, custom scripting functions, and business rules. The business rules feature has been the single most valuable feature for us. Prior to the Boomi release of that feature, we had planned to invest in a full blown business rules system. The Boomi implementation may not be a replacement for a rules system for all applications, but it easily meets all of our rules needs for the massive amount of financial data we move between systems. Boomi has saved us a very large amount of money, both in systems and labor cost. There are other integration platforms that have more built-in features, but most of those features are things we'd never use. Boomi is a cost effective "just right" solution for our business. | |

| It's a big problem to integrate workflows among various SaaS applications. Where do you turn? How do I accomplish it. we needed a middleware product that could sit between Salesforce and QuickBooks Online and found it with Boomi. Our integrator wrote the code (The developer was personable and competent and committed to our success). When it was all done, it worked great. And, logging on to Boomi and checking it out for myself, I realized that, if I had had the time, I probably could have done it myself, it was that straightforward. The folks at Boomi are first rate and I wouldn't let the price scare you, you do not want to trust your database integration to beginners. I liked the fact that everyone I needed to interface with was an English speaker. |

| The setup process was exceedingly simple, particularly when the complexity of the overall deliverable (high-volume data extraction/transformation/loading between disparate systems) is taken into account. However, the simplicity and reliability of the Boomi platform is the second most important quality that Boomi brings to the table. By far and away, Boomi's strength lies in the talents and passion of its human capital. Working with Boomi is working with true partner; one that is eager to go above and beyond for it's consumers. They offer a very focused set of features and functionality but do it at the best rates in the industry and with the best minds in the business. | |
